Meet the Authors
DesignLuv is a blog for designers and developers, written by designers and developers. Launched in March of 2010 by creative partnership Jon Bergan and Marnie B, the blog is updated several times a week with posts covering not only design and development, but also the business side of the industry such as time management, finances and other every day challenges.

Marnie B
A graphic designer, film buff and adorer of all things cupcake, Marnie brings her love of beautiful design to her work on- and offline.
As comfortable behind the small screen of her iPhone as her desktop PC or Mac, Marnie finds inspiration in everything she sees and transforms this into creative masterpieces.
Coupled with her love of creativity, Marnie is also process, customer service and marketing orientated. She spends time refining work practices and processes to ensure her company is operating at its most effective – for the directors and clients.
As a blogger, Marnie is passionate about connecting with the design community and loves writing about workflow for designers and freelancers, business tips, showcasing other blogs and logos, and blogs about what inspires her every day, both here on DesignLuv and on her personal blog.
In her down time Marnie alternates between her home DVD library and checking out the new offerings at the DVD store. When not baking or creating crafty pieces, Marnie is often dipping into her social media networks or doodling in her scrapbook.

Jon Bergan
Ever since 1994 when Jon first logged on to the Internet, he has been devoted to promoting the awesomeness of the web and what it has to offer to designers, developers and business owners. An entrepreneur at heart with an eye for good design, elegant code and hot-off-the-shelf tech products, Jon is a true Internet advocate and citizen if ever there has been one.
By day, Jon consumes most of his “nine to five” hours managing his own creative design company based on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. By night, he blogs and tweets about web development and managing startup and freelance businesses aimed specifically at the design community.
When offline, he likes to spend most of his time watching movies, exercising, playing guitar and drinking tea. The stuff all good kids are made of.
